MISS UNIVERSE FACES 2 YEARS JAIL TERM IN INDIA

The reigning Miss Universe - Olivia Culpo of USA - is under investigation by the Indian police for an unauthorized fashion shoot at India’s white-marble monument to love  (known as Taj Mahal,)

According to NYPost.com, Culpo and others in her group were alleged to have violated India’s Heritage Act during a 10-day visit to India  which ended last Sunday.

MISS UNIVERSE REFUSES TO MOVE OUT OF RUSSIA

The Organization that puts together the annual MISS UNIVERSE beauty pageant believes the show must go on in Russia ... despite facts that the Russian government has enacted laws against same-sex intercourse..

A rep from the organisation says the new, anti-gay law violates the core values of the Miss Universe Organization (MOU) hinting that most of the contestants are lesbians ... nevertheless, they want to stay put in Russia.  The MOU says it is hoping to change Russian minds.  Good luck with that.

Here's my advice.  If some of the women competing are lesbians, they better keep it to themselves, because they could end up behind bars, when they play their hand publicly.

The decision to stay in Russia isn't sitting well with everyone.  A petition on Change.org is trying to pressure the MUO to move out of Russia.

The winner of 2013 Mr. Universe Nigeria has emerged. He is Pius Marcus, a third year Fine Arts student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.

The undergraduate, who hails from Edo State, went home with a brand new Honda Accord salon car, and will represent Nigeria at the upcoming Mr. Universe Model Pageant at the Caribbean Islands.

He beat 33 other male contestants to clinch the Prize.
