Who is a christian?

The word Christian first appeared in the New Testament precisely Acts 11:26, ("And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch") They were called as such primarily because they believed in Christ and followed His examples. .

Today, the lifestyle of about two billion people who claim to be Christians have given Christianity a new meaning, which makes me keep asking who exactly is a christian?.

Is a  christian a person who gives or accepts bribes in the civil service, condones corrupt practices and grossly misappropriates funds in his place of work?

Is a christian a person who ensures that certain workers are denied their due salaries for over a year?


Is a christian a person who goes to a church or a worship centre dressed to parade his/her fashion ensemble sometimes with a chauffeur driven car, sits in front pews and generously gives the monies accrued through bribery and corrupt practices?

REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD TO BUILD LARGEST CHURCH IN AFRICA

 

Nigeria's largest church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on Saturday said it would build a 3-km x 3-km auditorium.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, made the disclosure during the Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp in Mowe area of southwest Ogun State.
 

The church leader said the new auditorium will be built at the mission's camp ground at the section of km 46 along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Explaining the reason behind the new project, Adeboye said the existing auditorium built in year 2000 with a capacity of 1 million people could no longer accommodate the congregation attending church service.

The project is expected to be completed in twelve months from now

He  is soliciting for donations from members of the church and the public to make the project a reality.

ANOTHER GAY PASTOR NABBED IN ABA

A 40-year-old Prophet/Pastor, Benjamin Ndubuisi has been arrested by the Aba Police Area Command for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 23-year-old man.

The Pastor who has his church situated at 89, Ukaegbu Road, Ogbor Hill, Aba has been involved in the act with the young man since he was made one of the church’s workers.

The victim, Ndukwe fearing that he may die as a result of his present deteriorating health condition made an open confession to his family on how he had been having anal sex with the Pastor.

Ndubuisi, a Pastor of a white garment churches in Ogbor Hill, engaged his victim as a worker in the church as a strategy for continuous intercourse with him.

It was disclosed that the gay prophet had placed Ndukwe on an oath not to ever disclose their love affair to anybody.

Troubled by the shocking disclosure, Ndukwe’s parents contacted the police, leading to the arrest of the homosexual prophet.

The Pastor who denied the allegation has since been arrested and summoned in court, and later granted bail in the sum of N200, 000.
