5 FACTS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT OLAWALE (2013 MTN PROJECT FAME WINNER)

It's trending now in the West African blogosphere that Olawale Ayodele Ojo has emerged winner of the MTN Project Fame West Africa (season 6), and consequently joined the league of Millionaire celebrities of Sub-Saharan African. Before his announcement as the winner of the keenly contested competition on Saturday night at the Ultima Studios, Admiralty Way, Lekki, little was known of him.

So, here are 5 facts about Olawale you may not have known:

1. His name ‘Olawale’ in Yoruba language means ‘wealth has come home’ I believe a man is what his name says of him. With Olawale's victory at the Music talent reality show, wealth has truly come home to him.


2. Olawale once dreamt of being a soil scientist and crop producer. To actualize that dream, he got matriculated into Agronomy Department of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo State to acquire professional training.

3. He nickname is ‘Pimp’. Olawale is fondly called by that mantra because of his genius in laptop and phone repairs. 

4. Olawale is a lover of  Jazz music even before he applied to be selected into Project fame. According to him, he finds emotional recuperation in the genre.

5. He is an acclaimed phone aficionado. (Methinks, he will soon become a brand ambassador for one the popular phone/telecommunication companies in the region.

PM News reported last night that Olawale will smile home with brand new car, N5million cash prize and a recording contract worth millions of naira for earning more votes than Immaculate- the first runner up, Niniola Apata and Margaret Cephas - the third and second runners up respectively. While,Rowland Ricketts and Omolayo Peter Babawale recorded the least number of votes out of the six contestants that made it to the final of the music competition.
