GERMAN BANKER DOZES OFF AND MISTAKENLY TRANFERS 222 MILLION EUROS

The Hessen labour court in Germany has heard the case involving an obviously tired bank employee who took a nap and accidentally transferred 222 million Euros ($293 million) instead of a minor 62.40 Euros to the bank account of a retiree.

The bank, however, discovered the mistake shortly afterwards and corrected the error.

the case was actually taken to court by a 48year old colleague who was fired for letting the mistake slip through when verifying the order.

The court has ruled that the fired man be reinstated.
