Police in South Dakota, USA have confirmed Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son has died following severe beating by 27-year-old Joseph Patterson, the man who was dating the mother of the NFL star's child.
The incidence occurred on Thursday, and the boy was on life support but since his condition never improved, family members decided to take the child off the support machine.

As Peterson plans the funeral with other members of the boy's family, Patterson, the culprit, who was initially arrested in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for assault and battery of an infant will now be charged for the crime of murder.
TMZ.com reports the mother of the child has decided to donate the child's organs to people in need.
Meanwhile, Peeterson has sent series of Tweets thanking everyone for standing by him this moment:
