Chris Brown has registered his name in a rehabilitation facility for anger
management issues. This is a move, presumably, calculated to help him deal with his temper problems and
to dull a possible prison sentence.
TMZ.com reports that Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, dropped him off at a facility in Malibu, and the move didn't come a day too soon.
Other sources say the Los Angeles County probation department is going hard in its
investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna case by getting arrested in Washington D.C. last weekend for allegedly punching a guy in the nose.
Facts indicate Brown flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail
and (straightaway) met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today.
We're
told it's likely the Probation Department will determine that Brown
violated his probation, and a judge could sentence him to as much as 4
years in prison.
Chris Brown was accompanied to the rehabilitation facility by his Attorney-Geragos, Chris' mom and girlfriend
Karrueche. The rehab move could be evidence that will show a measure of good faith and repentance to avert a prison sentence.
