Mitchell Solarek of Maximum Artist Group (an artiste management company) has filed a federal lawsuit in Tennessee, USA against gospel singing duo - Mary Mary (real names Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell) for betraying him.

2CHAINZ ARRESTED AFTER TOUR BUS DEADLOCK WITH POLICE

Rapper 2 Chainz was inside a tour bus involved in a deadlock with the police early this morning ... and he's already been arrested in connection with the incident.

2 Chainz' tour bus was pulled over in Oklahoma City early this morning after police suspected the passengers aboard. When they approached the vehicle, police say, they noticed signs of marijuana use and attempted to enter the bus.

But the bus driver locked the police out, insisting they get a warrant first.

Police got the warrant and eventually boarded the bus hours later, where they arrested 11 passengers (including 2 Chainz) for "interfering with the police process." .

It's unclear if they face additional charges.

However 2 Chainz has tweeted:

"This sh*t will make u go crazy, our bus gets pulled 1 a week and they always say I smell weed I need to search ur bus. Sh* gets tiring"




Whereas, Police sources allege that drugs were found on the bus ... but they wouldn't specify which, or how much

Charles Hernandez, an American war hero, is suing the company behind Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) ... claiming KFC  employees refused to serve him ... all because he arrived to the fast food joint with his registered dog. .  .

Hernandez claims he walked into a KFC in NY back in February, along with his registered service dog Valor ... who accompanies Hernandez to soothe his symptoms of post-traumatic stress caused by years in combat.

But instead of being greeted with a smile and some chicken, Hernandez claims a KFC employee told him, "papi, there are no dogs allowed."
Hernandez says he explained that he had the proper permits to have the dog accompany him inside restaurants -- to which the employee replied, "ok, but you still cannot have the dog in the store."
Eventually, Hernandez left ... sans chicken ... and is now firing back with the lawsuit -- demanding at least $1,000,000 for his troubles.

God bless America! Can this ever be obtained in Nigeria?

An employee at the KFC restaurant where the incident took place says ... when Hernandez arrived with the dog, the animal was not wearing the proper service dog vest and identification.

However, in his lawsuit, Hernandez states -- "Valor wears a bright green vest and tags that clearly indicate that he is not a pet, but rather a highly trained service dog."

What an odd story!!!

FORMER DEEPER LIFE PASTOR CONVICTED ON FRAUD CHARGES

Former Deeper Life Bible Church pastor and Nigeria-born lawyer, Ifeanyichukwu Eric Abakporo, has been convicted on charges of fraud by a jury in New York, and he could spend a maximum term of 30 years in prison when he is sentenced on November 12, 2013.

Abakporo was found guilty of three charges;

1. Conspiracy to commit bank fraud. 
2. Conspiracy to commit wire fraud, 
3. Actual bank fraud.  

The first and third charges each carry a maximum of 30 years in jail, while wire fraud carries a maximum of 20 years.

Abakporo’s co-conspirator, Latanya Pierce, who was also found guilty on all three counts, faces the same predicament.  She will be sentenced separately on December 9, 2013.

Last February, a grand jury of the United States District Court Southern District of New York indicted Abakporo and Pierce on the charges, and recommended that they forfeit to the government a wide variety of properties related to their offences, as well as a sum of money representing the approximate amount of proceeds obtained as a result of the offences.

The jury trial of the suspects took place on July 26 before Judge Shira A. Scheindlin, and the guilty verdict was rendered as early as 7:00am August 6,. (Nigerian time) Ms. Pierce is currently out on bail, but Abakporo was remanded in custody.

GAY PASTOR JAILED FOR HAVING SEX WITH MALE CHURCH MEMBER

 
A magistrate court has ordered that Pastor Philip Ogbebor – Founder and General Overseer of a Pentecostal Church in Benin City, be remanded at the Federal Medium Security Prison, Oko for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a 20-year-old male member of his church; and, administering secret oaths on him, including; threatening to kill him if he told anyone.

Shockingly, the lustful pastor of Breakthrough Ministries, Owina Street, off Sakponba road Benin city, neither denied the allegation of homosexuality levelled against him by the parents of one of his victims nor blamed the devil as many culprits will do.

Instead, he told reporters that he only encountered temptation and he will now face Divine Justice.

“I am only passing through temptation. I only did it four times with the man who is 22 years old and a regular member of my church. I can’t claim that it was the devil’s influence , let God decide my case.” He said.

Pastor Phillip Ogbebor is now an unusual inmate at the prisons. He faces a 14-year jail term, if found guilty by the court.

RIHANNA WINS COURT BATTLE WORTH $5MILLION TODAY

Pop superstar Rihanna today emerged victorious in court, after suing clothing giant Topshop over a T-shirt they sold with her face on it in a case that could be worth $5million.

The singer claimed the ‘unendorsed’ white T-shirt branded with a photograph of her in a bra top may have damaged her image because fans could have thought it was genuine merchandise. The Barbadian star, who sued under her real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, claimed she is entitled to damages from Arcadia Group Brands Ltd, which operates Topshop, over the unauthorised use of her picture.

Her lawyers told the High Court in London the fashion chain swindled her fans and that may have damaged her reputation. They said the picture was "very similar" to images used on CD sleeves for one of her albums.
  
Topshop's lawyers disputed her claim alleging that the 25-year-old singer was making an unjustifiable bid to establish a "free standing image right" over use of her picture in the UK. 

However, the Judge handling the case, Mr Justice Birss, ruled that a "substantial number" of buyers were likely to have been deceived into buying the T-shirt because of a "false belief" that it had been approved by the singer. He said it was damaging to her "goodwill" and represented a loss of control over her reputation in the "fashion sphere". 

Mr Justice Birss thereafter ruled in her favour today after a hearing in London.

The photograph used by Topshop had been taken during filming of a music video in Northern Ireland in 2011.

CHRIS BROWN IN ANOTHER HOT WATER

A District lawyer for Los Angeles County has just filed court papers against Chris Brown asking the judge in the Rihanna beating case to cancel the grace period he gave Brown.

According to reports reaching www.imanueljannah.blogspot.com, the District lawyer.wants the cancellation on the grounds that criminal charges have being filed against Chris Brown in connection with a hit-and-run case in May 2013, which alleged that he left the accident scene without handing over a California driver's license and other relevant information.

The filed court papers point out that Chris Brown intentionally broke the law in the hit-and-run case. Therefore, his period of grace should be cancelled and he should be immediately put in jail.

The matter will be heard in court today. If Chris is found guilty of violating his grace period, he could be kept for 4 years behind bars.

However, Chris Brown has tweeted, "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!" This appears to show he isn't happy.

UPDATE:

It was quick one - the judge just cancelled Chris Brown's period of grace in the Rihanna beating case, but in the meantime, the singer will remain a free man..

This cancellation paves the way for a probation (grace period) diobedience hearing in August.

Chris Brown was released on self-recognition.
